Baseball cards from the 80's! And some from the 70's.

Oh, the memories of youth. One of the few activities my father and I shared was collecting these cards. Now I'm selling them, probably at a steep loss, but I'd like to spare a few more square feet in my apartment.
There are literally thousands upon thousands of them. The bulk of the cards are from the 80's, and I was a Met/Yankee New Yorker, so the cards probably have a slight weighting toward those teams.
There's a smattering of cards from the 70's, and probably a couple from the 60's.
(note to treasure seekers- I do not have any Honus Wagner cards, apologies.)
I'd like to sell it all in one lump- box sets, huge binders with cards in plastic, all cards(except for the typical shoebox cards, which are the minority) are in great shape.
I'm thinking $2000 for the lot. Please comment if you'd like a showing- all comments are private, leave your email/phone and I'll contact you. Thanks!
